Sat. 20 October 2018, in Rome, it will be held the XV annual conference on TeX, LaTeX and digital typography, organized by GuIT (Gruppo Utilizzatori Italiani di TeX, Italian TUG) in the Sala degli affreschi, faculty of Engineering (via Eudossiana 18) of Sapienza Università di Roma.

Attending the conference is free of charge but we ask you to please subscribe filling the online form by Oct. 15. Who didn't subscribe can attend the conference anyway, but subscribing will help us organizing the conference at our best. Thank you for your comprehension.

Staying in Rome

Rome offers a lot of hotels, ranging from very cheap to very expensive. Listing here some of them would be useless, at the moment. We're checking with some of them the possibility to get discounts for meeting attendants. In case we have some success, we'll list those hotels here.

Traveling in Rome

Public transport companies in Rome are ATAC (city buses) and CoTraL (suburban buses and underground). You may buy tickets in newstands, tobacconists' and automatic machines in the railway and undergound stations.

These tickets may suit your needs:

  • BIT (Biglietto Integrato a Tempo): 1,50 €, 100 minutes trip on city buses and only one trip on the underground;
  • Roma 24H: 7,00 € unlimited trips on city buses and underground for 24 hours after validating the tickets;
  • Roma 48H; 16,50 € like the Roma 24H but for 48 hours after the validation;
  • Roma 72H; 18,00 € like the Roma 24H and 48H but for 72 hours after the validation.
